This victory at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center marks the Pole’s third and the Spaniard’s maiden Grand Slam^® singles title.

After a thrilling performance in the final, Iga Świątek emerged victorious in straight sets 6-2, 7-6. The youngest US Open men’s singles finalist since 1990, Carlos Alcaraz proved a worthy champion, displaying impressive skill, precision and composure to win in four sets 6-4, 2-6, 7-6, 6-3 in the electric atmosphere for which the final Grand Slam^® tournament of the season has come to be defined by.

It also sees the Spaniard become the youngest World No. 1 ever at the age of 19.
