2023 ROLEX SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
From the outset, Rolex and its watches have been designed to last, with an unrelenting focus on quality in the pursuit of longevity. A durable and timeless product is at the heart of the Perpetual philosophy, namely long-term commitment and the quest for excellence. A responsible approach and tangible initiatives to promote sustainability are therefore integral to the brand’s corporate culture.
Since 2020, Rolex has been formalizing its ‘Impact and Sustainability’ structured approach. Today, it is communicating about its economic, social and environmental impacts, as well as its vision, commitments and actions in this area through a public sustainability report.
Structured around the brand’s priority topics, this report details, among other things:
- the governance established by Rolex to define the brand’s sustainability strategy and ensure it is tangibly incorporated across the board in all its activities, both in Switzerland and at its affiliates;
- the concrete measures put in place at the heart of the company’s daily activities to reduce its impact in every area of its business throughout the value chain, from raw material procurement and its distribution activities to the manufacturing of its finished products.
This report outlines Rolex’s mission as a responsible company to place its quality standards, sense of innovation and culture of excellence at the heart of its sustainability commitments,
- by integrating this mission into the company’s decisions and actions;
- by ensuring that social and environmental responsibility is incorporated into practices throughout the value chain;
- by constantly innovating to reduce the impacts of its business;
- by continuing to design and manufacture watches of exceptional quality that stand the test of time.
