THE OPEN
Founded in 1860, The Open is held annually in the United Kingdom on a rotation of links courses, and by definition, always by the sea. Representing a real return to the roots of the sport, it takes place in often changeable weather conditions. To be crowned champion at The Open means defeating the world’s finest players while taming the elements, which can be as challenging as they are unpredictable. The 2025 edition is held at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland.
