In July the elite world of show jumping turns its attention to West Germany for the world equestrian festival, CHIO Aachen. Sponsored by Rolex since 1999, the event attracts over 360,000 passionate supporters during 10 days of competition – a record attendance among equestrian events. CHIO Aachen offers competition in five disciplines. The focal point of the show, the Rolex Grand Prix and the second Major in the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping calendar year, has been won by some of the most famous names in the sport including Rolex Testimonees Rodrigo Pessoa, Jeroen Dubbeldam, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, and Scott Brash.
